About Us

The Warsaw Sports Business Club is one of the largest clubs at the University of Oregon, and is devoted to providing a platform for students to be exposed to every aspect of the sports business industry. Members hear from guest speakers, attend site visits and gain valuable networking experience.

We could not thank our founder, Jim Warsaw enough for his dedication to the Warsaw Sports Marketing Center and Warsaw Sports Business Club. To learn more about his life please click HERE.

WSBC is open to all University of Oregon students regardless of year or major.

The WSBC has access to leaders of the sports industry all across America and aims to create opportunities for members to learn about the current trends and business challenges faced by these leaders. This is done through our meetings with experts, large group site visits and TGIPDX's.

The WSBC utilizes its resources to provide guidance to students passionate about a career in sports business. This is provided through our Mentor & Mentee program, Linkedin/Resume Workshops, career fairs, case competitions, and much more.

About Duncan
I am a Junior from Chesapeake, Virginia majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Business and a minor in Multimedia. I am currently serving in the role of Vice President of Culture for the Warsaw Sports Business Club, and I'm doing it for the culture.

I hail from the East Coast where we are always three hours (steps) ahead of you West Coast kids, but am a second generation Duck behind my father who's career in the Navy has taken me all over the world while living in Asan, Guam and Naples, Italy earlier in my life. When I arrived on campus two years ago I quickly learned the WSBC was the family for me, and my passion for sport has only grown stronger.

I follow almost all sports, but am a huge fan of the Seahawks and Spurs. Russell Wilson is my hero and Tim Duncan had the best pregame outfits, don't @ me.

I model my football intramural game after Wes Welker but perform like Brett Favre after coming out of retirement (the second time).

I have been lucky enough to gain valuable experience so far at Oregon while interning with the Student Alumni Association as a Graphic Design Intern, with Youth Movement as a Design Director, and currently as an Ambassador with Oregon Football and a Fan Experience Intern with the UO Athletic Department.

Jc C Pollard - VP of Membership and Recruitment
About Jc
Hello Humans,

My name is Jc Pollard, I come from the far away universe commonly known as Utah. I am a sophomore here at the University of Oregon, majoring in sports business and minoring in political science. With the exception of the mass amounts of water that falls from the sky I absolutely love UO. Aside from serving as the Vice President of Membership for the Warsaw Sports Business Club, I am also a Personal Trainer at the Rec, as well as a two time IM Football Champion.

Fun Facts:
-I know how much Peyton Manning Weighed at birth (14 lbs).
-Forest Gump is the best movie ever made.
-I take Intramural sports way too seriously.

On a more serious note, I am honored and privileged to be a part of the Executive Board. This club is so incredible in terms of the services and opportunities it provides for our members. I look forward to helping make this year in Warsaw the best ever.

Colin Loftus
About Colin
Sophomore pre business major. VP of Marketing and Digital Media. I live in Hollis, New Hampshire, and I'm a fan of the Pats, Sox, Celtics, and Bruins as well as Manchester United and PSG. At the moment I'm hoping to have a career relating to the advertisement/organization of sneakers/soccer cleats/sportswear in flagship retail stores or launch events, possibly abroad. I played basketball, baseball, football, soccer, and lacrosse in high school and love playing anything I can get my hands on. I'd say some of my greatest life achievements are getting like 3 nutmegs in 10 seconds on a kid in soccer or being referred to in Sports Illustrated for my costume at a Ducks basketball game.
