Mission Statement

The Warsaw Sports Business Club’s mission is to provide a platform for opportunity, professional/personal development, and industry engagement. This comes in the form of professional workshops, professional site visits, networking opportunities, and bi-weekly meetings with sports business professionals. All of this leading to a personally built platform to obtain internships and jobs within the sports business industry.

Bi-Weekly Meetings

We have bi-weekly meetings on even weeks 2, 4, 6, and 8 throughout the term on Wednesday nights at 6PM in Lillis 211.

We have gone paperless with our Membership Form. To join fill it out, and pay your $75 annual membership fee with cash, check, or credit card to become a member.

David Dunn  

Chairman and CEO of Athletes First, David has long been one of the NFL’s most prominent agents. He and his agency represent stars such as Clay Matthews, Wes Welker, Jamaal Charles, and Aaron Rodgers. 

 

 

Tinker Hatfield 

U of O Alum, Vice President of Design at Nike, and the architect of iconic sneakers including the Air Max 1 and the numerous models in the Air Jordan line. 

                  

Trips

The Warsaw Sports Business Club goes on monthly site visits called TGIPDX to give students the opportunity to explore different areas of the sports industry, hear from high level executives, and network with respective leaders at these companies. Space on trips is limited, and each opportunity will have its own application process. Additionally the club offers an opportunity to travel and attend the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference in Boston, MA.
