Mission Statement

The mission of the Warsaw Sports Business Club is to provide an environment for eager students to be educated in every aspect of the sports business industry. Experts from diverse backgrounds with completely unique stories are brought in to give advice and insight on their career. Along with hearing from guest speakers every other week a select group of students take site visits throughout the year. 

 

Bi-Weekly Meetings

We have bi-weekly meetings at 6PM in Lillis 211. This year we are going paperless with our Membership Form. Fill it out, and pay your $75 annual membership fee with cash, check or credit card to become a member.

 

Past Guest Speakers

Andy Dolich: Past experience includes serving as the Head of Business Operations for the San Francisco 49ers, President of Business Operations for the Memphis Grizzlies, Executive  Vice President of Tickets.com, and was the President/COO of Golden State Warriors.

                           

 

 

David Dunn: Chairman and CEO of Athletes First, has long been one of the NFL’s most prominent agents. He and his agency represent such stars as Clay Matthews, Wes Welker, Jamaal Charles and Aaron Rodgers. 

      

 

 

Tinker Hatfield: Vice President of Design at Nike and the architect behind iconic  sneakers including the Air Max One and the Air Jordan range. 

  

 

 

Tara Jackson: Current Director of International Partnership  Activation at UFC. Tara also spent two years in Ticket Sales with the Memphis Grizzlies  and two years with Octagon as an Account Manager. 

    

     

                                      

Chris McGowan: President and CEO of the Portland Trail Blazers.  Prior to joining the Trail Blazers, McGowan spent several years in Los Angeles as the COO of AEG in Los Angeles. 

                  

 

 

Trips

The Warsaw Sports Business Club goes on three site visits annually to give students the opportunity to explore different areas of the sports industry, hear from high level executives and network with the respective leaders at these companies. Space on trips is limited, each opportunity will have its own application process.
