Description: The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) is an organization of journalists, students, and media-realated professionals that provide quality programs and services to and advocated on behalf of black journalists worldwide. It is the largest organization of journalists of color in the nation. The National Association of Black Journalists - University of Oregon chapter (NABJ-UO) was just recently accepted for affiliate status in October of 2013 and we've been reactivated on our campus. Our purpose for the NABJ-UO chapter is to provide a positive network of like-minded students of color and professionals to fuel each other towards success in the field of journalism. Being successful in journalism, no matter what field, is the goal we hope to help all current and future members of NABJ-UO achieve.
